Lifeworks Autumn Youth Bubbles

We are delighted to bring to you Lifeworks Autumn Youth Bubbles. Following the required Covid-19 health and safety guidelines we have reduced the size of Kool Club groups to enable us to run safe Bubble clubs.

The Bubbles will now take place in two locations – Dartington & Torbay – to enable us to run more localised groups.

The Youth Bubbles will offer a range of activities to support attendees to see friends, have fun, try new things, be active and be mindful of self & surroundings. Please see below for more info or contact [email protected]

Youth Bubble – Torbay

Dates: 3 October – 12 December

Venue : The Learning Lab at Torre Abbey, The Kings Drive, Torquay, TQ2 5JE

3 October: At last we are back in the water: Paddleboard with Paddleshack at Broadsands – Bring your own wetsuit J or let us know if you need one and we will try and source, then Mindfulness with the Mindful Choice, followed by Football with Lift the Lid.

17 October: Youth Bubble induction + ‘getting to know you’. Mindfulness with The Mindful Choice. Zumba and Yoga with Sophie C.

31 October: Football with Lift the Lid; Mindfulness with The Mindful Choice and Sound Communities Body Kind Podcast Workshop

14 November: Mindfulness with The Mindful Choice; Hula-hoop and yoga with Sophie; Creative Movement with Dance in Devon

28 November: Football with Lift the Lid; Mindfulness with The Mindful Choice and Sound Communities Body Kind Podcast Workshop

12 December: Creative Movement with Dance in Devon, Mindfulness with The Mindful Choice; Sophie C’s Panto Hula Troop Live at Torre Abbey + Lockdown Disco with Mark T.

Youth Bubble – South Devon

Dates: 10 October – 19 December

Venue: Dartington Hall, Griffiths Room, Totnes temporarily (until Rushbrook Centre in Totnes becomes available again)

10 October: At last we are back in the water: Paddleboard with Paddleshack at Broadsands – Bring your own wetsuit or let us know if you need one and we will try and source; then Mindfulness with the Mindful Choice, followed by Hula-hoop on the Beach with Sophie C.

24 October: Youth Bubble induction + ‘getting to know you’. Mindfulness with The Mindful Choice. Circuit training with Lift the Lid.

7 November: Music Session with Moor to Sea; Mindfulness with The Mindful Choice. Hula-hoop and yoga with Sophie C.

21 November: Creative Movement with Dance in Devon; Mindfulness with The Mindful Choice; Zumba and Yoga with Sophie C.

5 December: Creative Movement with Dance in Devon; Mindfulness with The Mindful Choice and Hula-hoop and Yoga with Sophie C.

19 December: Music Session with Moor to Sea; Mindfulness with The Mindful Choice and Sophie C’s Panto Hula Troupe live in South Devon + Lockdown Disco with Mark T.

Physical Activity

Paddleboarding, football, creative movement, hula-hooping, yoga Zumba and dance – there will be something for everyone. You will be having so much fun you won’t notice you are keeping fit!

Connecting Safely with Friends

Running in smaller Bubbles of 10 people at a time, we will prioritising health and safety as people see each other in person. If any groups are cancelled you will be able to connect online at Safe-Space. Bubble fees will be refunded.

There will be lots of new activities that will get you moving and feeling creative.

How will the Youth Bubbles work?

To keep everyone as safe as possible we have adapted Kool Club into new, smaller Bubble delivery (up to 10 people). There will now be two choices of where you can attend – South Devon (Dartington) or Torbay (Torquay).

You will be able to book your young person in for a term at a time. The cost for attending the Youth Bubbles will remain the same as Kool Club at £125 per month (23 x Saturdays per annum).

We will be offering places subject to assessment, on a ‘first come first served’ basis on completion and receipt of remittance advice and up to date registration information. Please note that the programme is subject to change (wet and windy weather options always available) or cancellation in the case of Covid-19 guidelines. Our priority is to keep everyone safe at all times – if we take the decision or government guidelines mean that we have to cancel the Youth Bubbles you will receive a full refund and replacement activities will take place in Safe-Space.

Holiday Bubble Costs

The cost will be £50 per day, which increases to £100 per day if your young person needs 1:1 support. Please email [email protected] for more info and to book. In the event of cancellation you will receive a full refund.
