Lifeworks is really pleased to be bringing you our Lifeworks Community Projects Spring Term – 2022 Calendar  in partnership with incredible local enterprises e.g. Moor to Sea, Common Flora, The Kitchen Table, The Ballroom Totnes, Lift-the-lid and Play Torbay. With lots of help, our programme is jam-packed full of inclusive sports, arts, life skills and growing opportunities at the weekend, in the evenings, and in the holidays for young people and young adults with learning disabilities age 11+ and their families and carers online AND in person.

Inclusive music sessions with Rachel Thame and The Turning Tides Project. Come and play music in a much loved community space Lifeworks works in partnership with the Turning Tides Project to deliver a Monday Night Music Making Session at the Barrel House, Totnes called Jam Buddies. The group runs every Monday night at the Barrel House Totnes; 5-7pm. Come and enjoy a three course ‘Spring Has Sprung’ Sharing feast cooked by Lifeworks Youth Group and Chef Sima from The Kitchen Table £25 per head + Lifeworks LOVE Auction: Have you got somerthing other people might want? Are you are gardener, hairdresser, do you work in a bakery or run a cinema? What can you put in the auction to help raise funds for a fab trip for the Youth Group in the Summer Term? Led by Moor to Sea this is an amazing opportunity for young people with learning disabilities to work with musicians from all over the UK. To challenge musicians to think about music in new ways. To co-create new work and explore composition, orchestral arrangement and conducting – we’ll find our own new ways from your ideas! Anyone involved in Lifeworks Community Programmes can come along to any of the sessions listed below but we do need you to book on if you’re not a regular attendee of the session. Taiko drumming, with taiko south west in the morning and a splash in the hydro pool in the afternoon
