Sesame is a small home for young adults with complex learning disabilities. It offers a safe environment, enabling residents to explore their potential and develop their level of independence with help from caring and skilled support staff.

Open to individuals between 18 and 35, residents are able to use it as their long-term home or as a transition towards more independent living.

Sesame is a light, four-bedroomed house with outdoor space, situated in a residential area of Torquay.

With close access to shops, leisure facilities and public transport, residents regularly engage with the local community to encourage active citizenship.

Sesame staff offer 24 hour support in daily living, including assistance with domestic tasks such as shopping, cooking, cleaning and personal care. Other areas of support include money management, home management skills, learning about personal relationships, making friends and maintaining contact with family and friends.
