For Lifeworks back at Torre Abbey
Lifeworks Young Adult Saturday Social (YASS) enjoyed a beautiful day at Torre Abbey. The group had the amazing Jonathan come and teach them a number of circus skills, including juggling, baton and ribbon twirling, stilt walking along with using their own imagination for the more advanced skills such as high wire walking!
Importantly for lifeworks, Torre Abbey is an excellent accessible and inclusive venue, where the group are always made to feel at ease and at home, which makes their weekend visits and trips even more memorable.
Lifeworks Pantomime Preparations
Then it waas time for planning for the Lifeworks panto an original production they aim to share with residents in a local care home at Christmas. The panto has characters such as; Wishy Washy, Donald Duck, Snow White, Luke Skywalker, Shrek, The three ugly Sisters, (Mark, Chris and Abs) and even Robo Santa and Mrs Clause.
The day was finished with the Lifeworks Disco sharing it on zoom with people at home and then eveyone watched a little bit of Snow White for further inspiration on our panto – Jonathan took their ideas home to write a script – Good Luck to the whole Lifeworks Young Adults Saturday Social
