“We’re delighted to have been awarded Disability Confident Leader. As a charity supporting people with a learning disability we know how important it is to be able to reduce and remove the barriers that people with disabilities face on a daily basis. We are not only committed to this with all of the that we support but also by taking positive action to reduce and remove barriers for disabled people gaining and remaining in employment with Lifeworks.”
In becoming a Disability Confident Leader, Lifeworks have demonstrated that they are not only taking positive action to recruit and retain disabled people but are also actively sharing best practice and encouraging other organisations to join the scheme.
