Lifeworks at Crealy theme park “best day ever”

Lifeworks Youth Group had a superb day out at Crealy Theme Park on Saturday. Due to the pandemic it had been a couple of years since we last visited, but it was well worth the wait. The day could not have gone any better. The sun was shining and there were lots of fun to be had by all.
The young people encouraged each other to try new things and the Crealy staff did everything to ensure all we all had a have a safe and memorable visit.
Some of our young people and support workers zoomed around the lagoon in a speedy bumper boat, firing fast pumping water cannons at each other. Whilst others braved the Tidal Wave Log Flume getting even wetter as they splashed down 40 feet into the pool of water below.

Lifeworks flying high

A brave few Lifeworks young adults jumped on board The Flying Dutchman for an amazing aerial adventure. Not one the faint hearted as they swooped low and swung high through the sky enjoying stunning views of the park. Then it is was onto the Dino Jeeps to explore the Jurassic Jungle. There were surprises at every turn including the noisy T-Rex, the mischievous Stegosaurus, and a clever Velociraptor!!

We also discovered the cute and curious residents of Animal Land full of a wealth of residents, including Shetland Ponies, Welsh Ponies, Alpacas, Wallabies, Goats and Emus!

All of the young people agreed is was, “The BEST day ever” On behalf of everyone at Lifeworks we would like to thank all of the staff at Crealy Theme Park for a day that we will never forget.

SATURDAY YOUTH CLUB FOR YOUNG PEOPLE WITH LEARNING DISABILITIES

Our Youth Group offers young people with learning disabilities aged 11-18 a chance to make friends, experience the new, take the lead, get involved in community life and most importantly have a great time.  There is a core group of people who attend Youth Group and it is periodically open to new members with learning disabilities.

We currently have availability for new members and would love to hear from you!
