We are gearing up to put on a winter wonderland at their Robins Residential and Short Break home for children with learning disabilities later this month.
It is set to be a magical and fun filled day for the youngsters to make up for the Christmas trips they would usually be going on. We are all facing a Christmas like no other with the restrictions we face so that the Covid-19 crisis can be managed. We are not letting that stop us from giving the children and young people who stay at Robins a Christmas to remember. Usually we would be taking trips on the Santa Express or going to the Theatre – this year the Robin’s team have got creative to put on something extra special.
We are incredibly grateful for the support offered to us by Newton Abbot B&Q who have very kindly donated a 6ft Christmas Tree. Andy Hooper B&Q Unit Manager says, “On behalf of B&Q at Newton Abbot, I am delighted to donate a Christmas tree to Robins to support the set up of their winter wonderland. On behalf of the whole team here at B&Q we wish the children and staff at Robins a merry Christmas”.
It will really help to turn Robins into a winter wonderland for the youngsters and we couldn’t be more pleased with their tree donation – Thank you and Merry Christmas to everyone at B&Q.
