support the Lifeworks Holiday Project

We would like to say a big thank you to for making a donation of £500 in support of the Lifeworks Holiday Project.

The Lifeworks Holiday Project provides activity programmes during the school holidays for learning disabled young people aged 12 – 17. These opportunities offer fun, friends and new experiences. A week with the Holiday Project can mean so much to the young people who attend – helping them to develop skills and friendships that last far beyond the boundaries of the school holidays.

The young people take part in film and music making, art sessions, drama, photography, sports, cookery, nature trails and trips away- to name but a few of the activities that make the Holiday Project so exciting.

The programme has been developed together with the groups who took part in last year’s sessions. The activities offer young people the chance to develop key skills like socialising, personal safety and healthy living – and most importantly, are packed full of fun.

The donation made by will support Holiday Project delivery taking place throughout the Autumn and Winter 2017, and into Spring 2018 – and will make a huge difference to the young people who attend.
