Lifeworks Young Film Makers – YFM Hard at Work

Lifeworks Young Film Makers (YFM) were recently hard at work at Dartington Hall for a whole weekend after landing a commission from the Arts Council to make a film for Channel 4. The young film makers are seeing their project realised after 6 months of intense process working with mentor Ed Jobling from Forkbeard Fantasy.

On the Saturday, the YFM team went on location in Totnes with Calling the Shots producer Steve Gear and started to build the soundtrack with wordsmith Rob Mitchel and music mentor Rachel Thame. On Sunday some of the team spent the day in a dark space bringing their film to life with projected images, and some were joined by peer mentors from South Devon College and the Southwest Music School to cut the soundtrack.
