Lifeworks Holiday Project 2016

As part of its new Holiday Project, Lifeworks is collaborating with fantastic venues and activity providers in Torbay and the South Hams to bring you Summer School 2016.

Each week 9 young people aged 12-18 with learning disabilities will be supported to participate in a range of activities including adventure play, bell ringing and community volunteering; goat herding and cooking goats milk fudge; canoeing, climbing and football; wild foraging and a relaxed screening of the BFG, Radio broadcast, DJ and dance workshops.

All of the young people who participate in Summer School 2016 will be invited to the Lifeworks Young People’s Summer Ball at the end of the Summer holidays.

The Holiday Project is a new initiative which we hope to grow in partnership with the young people who attend – please click on each image to view a visual programme for that week.
